Tab Alarm
Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 22, 2026. Tab Alarm is an offline alarm, timer, and stopwatch app. It does not require an account.
Information we collect
Tab Alarm does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or store your personal information on our servers. The app includes no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, account, payment, cloud-sync, or social-media SDKs.
Information stored on your device
Alarm schedules, labels, selected sounds, timer state, stopwatch state, lap history, and theme preference are stored locally in the app’s private on-device storage so the app can work offline and restore your reminders after a restart.
Android permissions
- Notifications let Tab Alarm show an alarm or timer alert.
- Exact alarms let an alarm you set ring at the selected time, including while the app is not open.
- Full-screen intent, vibration, and wake lock let a time-sensitive alarm alert you clearly on the lock screen.
- Boot completed lets the app restore enabled alarms after your device restarts.
These permissions are used only for the timing functions you start. Tab Alarm does not request Internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, or accessibility permissions.
Data deletion
You can delete all Tab Alarm data at any time by deleting alarms and laps in the app, or by using Android’s Settings > Apps > Tab Alarm > Storage > Clear storage. Uninstalling the app also removes its local data, subject to any device-level backup settings you control.
Children
Tab Alarm is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes because the app’s data practices change, the effective date and policy will be updated before that version is released. For privacy questions, contact office@tabalarm.com.
